Assistant Manager EHS

Key Accountabilities:

1. Conduct Root-Cause Analysis, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and lead safety audits by reviewing Process Safety Risk Assessments and plant based modifications requiring detailed process analysis. Plan & implement process safety initiative at the site.
2. Fully support, lead & implement EHS agenda at Project IRIS
3. Ensure the company complies with all environmental legislative requirements including EPA reporting significant experience in participating in risk assessments, EHS audits, and implementing EHS Management systems.
4. Develop and assist in developing procedures for & manage the Emergency Response program at the site
5. Review of new equipment/ service and associated processes as they apply to the assigned work area, assess their safety impacts and ensure compliance with existing safety practices and standards. Review of contractor safety management systems for compliance with the safety minimum requirements.
6.  Developing and implementing programs on risks for the sites relating to machinery, fire, ergonomics, noise, workplace transport, environmental emissions, and waste management.
7. Ability to positively impact EHS culture change through sustained, continuous improvement plans.

9. Able to develop & conduct safety trainings

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour:

• Bachelor’s in environmental/chemical
• 2 to 3 years of core EHS experience
• ISO Halal Certifications and Strong knowledge of SHE Compliance
• Good Presentation & Communications Skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP and strong data analytics.
• Ability to lead and engage teams.
