Assistant Manager - PMO
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PMO for our Packages Group IT team. The ideal candidate will support the successful execution of multiple projects by ensuring adherence to PMO standards, tracking project progress, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusted and collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams to foster long-term engagement and partnership.
- Assist in coordinating and supporting the execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Track and report project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with overall project plans.
- Ensure adherence and consistent application of Agile project management and/or related methodologies and practices across all projects.
- Support project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, risk logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and reviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and help resolve issues or bottlenecks that may impact project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role within a structured project management environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
- PMP/CAPM or other relevant certification (preferred but not required).
