Assistant Manager Supply Chain

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Assist in developing and executing procurement strategies for mall operations, related services, and facilities management.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effective procurement in line with organizational policies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance to meet service-level agreements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage the stocks.
  • Implement inventory control measures to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Address and resolve any logistical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to mall operations.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing the supply chain budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost savings where possible.
  • Analyze spending and cost metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Ensure that all supply chain processes comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventories, supplier contracts, and other essential documentation.
  • Oversee and coordinate compliance checks for materials received to ensure alignment with quality and safety standards.
  • Analyze supply chain metrics and prepare reports to assess performance and efficiency.
  • Generate insights based on data analysis to support decision-making for operational improvements.
  • Assist in creating monthly and annual supply chain performance reports.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, using industry best practices and innovation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement areas and implement strategies for greater efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technology, and best practices relevant to supply chain and logistics.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour:

 

  • BBA/MBA in SCM 
  • Proficiency in ERP software (Oracle)
  • Ability to develop system and controls
  • Excellent Presentation and Reporting Skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
