Assistant Manager Warehouse

Assistant Manager Warehouse

Key Accountablities:

Responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining proper storage, handling, and documentation of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. The role ensures timely material availability for production, coordinates inbound and outbound logistics, and maintains accurate SAP/ERP records. It also ensures compliance with safety, quality, and ISO standards while enforcing 5S and housekeeping across warehouse areas. The position supervises warehouse staff, optimizes space and processes, supports audits, and drives continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and cost control. Collaboration with production, procurement, quality, and logistics stakeholders is essential to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

•Preferably a Bachelors

•B.Tech degree is also acceptable with strong relevant experience.

•Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling practices.

•Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems for warehouse and inventory transactions.

•Understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and ISO/5S requirements.

•Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

•Effective communication and coordination abilities across departments.

•Strong leadership, team supervision, and staff development capabilities.

•High sense of responsibility, discipline, and ownership of tasks.

•Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

•Proactive, organized, and focused on continuous improvement.
