Assistant Vice President

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Business Development

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individual (HNI) clients.
  • Develop new client relationships to expand equity brokerage revenues.
  • Maintain strong, long‑term relationships by providing timely market intelligence and superior service.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, market briefings, and investment discussions.

Equity Sales & Execution Support

  • Market equity ideas, research reports, and trading strategies to clients.
  • Coordinate closely with trading, research, and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution.
  • Monitor client trading activity, commission flows, and revenue targets.
  • Support structured trades, block trades, and special transactions where required.

Market & Research Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between clients and the research team, ensuring effective dissemination of research insights.
  • Stay updated on PSX-listed companies, macroeconomic trends, and sector developments.
  • Provide client feedback to research and management to improve product offerings.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with SECP regulations, PSX rules, and internal compliance policies.
  • Adhere to KYC, AML, and client suitability requirements at all times.
  • Promote ethical conduct and best practices in sales and trading activities.

Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Support and mentor junior sales staff as required.
  • Prepare periodic sales performance reports for senior management.
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives for the equity sales business.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (Master’s).
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in equity sales, brokerage, or capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), listed equities, and local market dynamics.
  • Existing client relationships within institutional or HNI segments will be a strong advantage.
