EHS Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure & endeavor to achieve Goal Zero ( Zero Fire, Zero LTI) at PREPL
• To be the change agent for inculcating HSE culture in Retail Centre and Construction projects
• Ensure timely review, reporting, recordkeeping, standardization, and analysis of EHS statistics (EHS Dashboard) translating into meaningful insights and tangible outcome for risk mitigation.
• Timely preparation and updating EHS dashboards, procedures/plans.
• Conduct and review risk assessment of retail center and construction activities and present to PREPL management for mitigation.
• Ensure training and induction of 100% retail staff, workers, management and contractors.
• Assist in Formulation of standards and procedures to improve EHS culture in true spirit as per evolving Business needs
• Developing and initiating EHS Campaigns for all stakeholders
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and evaluate performance

Preferred skills, knowledge and qualification:

• Knowledge in the field of EHS will be preferred (especially construction and project safety). NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.
• Engineer in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil.
• At least 1-2 years' experience in the field of Environment, Health & Safety.
• Emergency Response Plan and Incident Management.
