Junior Maintenance Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of instrumentation and control technicians in the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control systems.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLCs, DCS systems, SCADA, and other field instrumentation to ensure optimal accuracy and performance.

  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and diagnostics on instrumentation and control devices to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation and control systems to minimize downtime and maintain process reliability.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and standards (such as ISA, IEC, ANSI, and OSHA) during all I&C-related work.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team, including training on instrumentation systems, calibration procedures, control logic, and safety best practices.

  • Maintain accurate records of calibrations, inspections, loop checks, maintenance activities, and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

  • Ensure effective coordination between instrumentation teams and other departments (such as operations, electrical, and mechanical) to optimize workflow and project timelines.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for instrumentation spares, calibration tools, and consumables to ensure availability for maintenance and project activities.

  • Assist in the commissioning, configuration, and functional testing of new instrumentation, PLC/DCS control systems, and process automation equipment.

  • Respond to process upsets and system failures, troubleshooting instrumentation and control faults efficiently and safely.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of control and automation systems.
