Legal & Compliance Officer

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, tax, cantonment board, EPA regulatory matters and any other external legal matter.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, lease agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and service-level contracts
- Assist in dispute resolution, litigation management, and coordination with external legal counsel and financial institutions
- Ensure regulatory filings and renewals are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain corporate legal documents, records, licenses, certificates etc.
- Ensure third-party contracts and operations adhere to organizational policies and legal frameworks
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour:
- LLB/LLM
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret and apply laws to business situations
- Understanding of corporate and commercial laws
- Knowledge of contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Awareness of regulatory compliance requirements
- Familiarity with labour laws and statutory obligations
- Understanding of litigation processes and dispute resolution
