Maintenance Engineer/Asst. Manager E&I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Troubleshoot breakdowns in electrical systems, drives, motors, MCCs, control circuits, PLC-based systems, and instrumentation devices.

  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.

  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and control systems.

  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for timely resolution of issues and smooth plant operation.

  • Maintain documentation, maintenance logs, and records as per company and audit requirements.

  • Implement and follow safety procedures, electrical isolation/LOTO standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Support reliability improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce downtime.

  • Monitor spare parts related to E&I and coordinate requirements with procurement.

  • Participate in shutdown/turnaround activities, job planning, and execution.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.

  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, DCS, control circuits, and field instrumentation.

  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and datasheets.

  • Knowledge of maintenance standards and safety procedures.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.


Experience:

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance (Manufacturing/Process/Continuous Plant preferred).
