Maintenance Engineer/Asst. Manager E&I

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Troubleshoot breakdowns in electrical systems, drives, motors, MCCs, control circuits, PLC-based systems, and instrumentation devices.

Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.

Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and control systems.

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for timely resolution of issues and smooth plant operation.

Maintain documentation, maintenance logs, and records as per company and audit requirements.

Implement and follow safety procedures, electrical isolation/LOTO standards, and compliance requirements.

Support reliability improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce downtime.
-
Monitor spare parts related to E&I and coordinate requirements with procurement.
-
Participate in shutdown/turnaround activities, job planning, and execution.
Skills & Competencies:
-
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.
-
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, DCS, control circuits, and field instrumentation.
-
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and datasheets.

Knowledge of maintenance standards and safety procedures.
-
Strong communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
Experience:
-
5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance (Manufacturing/Process/Continuous Plant preferred).
