Manager Civil

Key Accountabilities:

1. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all civil projects within the mall, including maintenance, renovations, and new constructions.
2. Conduct regular inspections of the mall's infrastructure to identify any structural issues, safety concerns, or maintenance requirements.
3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the mall's civil assets.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Manage and supervise a team of civil engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
6. Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and timelines, and monitor expenditures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
7. Coordinate with other departments within the mall, such as operations, security, and facilities management, to address any civil-related issues or concerns.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in civil engineering and construction management.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; master’s degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (5+ years) in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, preferably in a commercial or retail setting.
3. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, structural design, building codes, and regulations.
4. Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools for project planning, scheduling, and design.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
8. Professional certification or licensure as a Civil Engineer or Project Manager is desirable.
