Operator

Key Accountabilities:

• Execute daily slitting activities to meet production targets safely and on time.
• Feed raw material (mill rolls) to the machine.
• Maintain production records, routine maintenance logs, and formulation data.
• Ensure proper machine operation; troubleshoot and resolve issues during the shift.
• Keep the machine clean throughout the shift.
• Implement 5S practices in the machine area.
• Guide and train junior operators.
• Perform quality checks and inspections; record data and maintain product quality.
• Support departmental waste reduction goals; ensure full roll length consumption to minimize leftovers.
• Monitor and enforce 5S, cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the work environment.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and protect personnel and equipment.
• Present or initiate improvement actions focused on performance, process enhancement, and cost savings

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:

• Min. DAE (Diploma) in Electronics, Electrical, and/or Chemical
• Knowledge of or ability to learn operating with computer-controlled interfaces
• Ability to understand and work with analytical and mechanical equipment
• Should have knowledge of TPM and ISO standards
• Teamwork
• Adaptability
• Planning & organizing skills
• Min, 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machinery operation
• Experience with film-based extrusion or coating equipment preferred but not require
