Key Accountabilities:
1. Conduct security risk assessments and implement appropriate and proportionate mitigation measures.
2. Develop and implement site security SOPs and ensure compliance with the safety protocols.
3. Supervise day-to-day security operations including guard force deployment, access control, surveillance, patrolling, and incident response.
4. Maintain effective liaison with external security agencies and law enforcement, as required.
5. Manager functions of CCTV, alarm systems, and other electronic security systems at the site.
6. Assist in development and implementation of emergency/ crisis management plans and Business continuity plans.
7. Ensure periodic training and drills for security personnel and staff on emergency procedures (fire drills, first aid, evacuation).
8. Investigate security breaches, accidents, or incidents and submit detailed reports.
9. Oversee general office administration including housekeeping, transport, facility upkeep, and utilities management.
10. Manage the administrative support staff and ensure timely completion of tasks on site.
11. Assist in organizing and managing company events, training sessions, or meetings.
12. Maintain vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
13. Maintain documentation and records related to security checks, visitor logs, audits, and insurance.
14. Prepare regular reports on security performance, incidents, and administrative budgets.
15. Ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and statutory obligations (e.g., fire safety, Labor regulations).
16. Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and public affairs engagements related to security, administration, and corporate responsibilities.
17. Assist in addressing and resolution of community relations issues, participating in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Security Management, Facilities Management, or related field. Certification in security, fire safety, or facility management is a plus.
2. Ex-Military (not above the rank of Captain) with field security experience shall be preferred.
3. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in security and administrative role or similar position in a manufacturing industry is preferable.
