Supply Chain Manager

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify and qualify global and local chemical suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sustainability requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop supply chain team and collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, R&D, and Finance.
• Manager and achieve working capital targets as defined by management.
• Oversee procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and indirect services.
• Ensure that the requirements of imported / local raw materials and components/machinery parts of different departments are fulfilled.
• Ensure that the IMS within the department is properly implemented.
• To ensure smooth and consistent supply of both local and imported RM, prompt ordering and timely delivery.
• To maintain the RM inventory as per management target.
• To introduce new cos t effective RM(local and import) in coordination with technical team.
• To liaison and look after the activities of customs clearing agents in Karachi and Kasur .
• To negotiate the rates with the clearing agents and transporters for arranging custom clearance and transportation from the Port/Dry port to the factory.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour:

• Master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or related field.
• 10–15 years of supply chain experience, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sector.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Supply Chain ERP systems (SAP/MM, PP, etc.)
• Experience in international procurement, logistics, and trade compliance.
