Trade Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Trade Officer
Location: Lahore
Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Prepare and verify export and import documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading/Airway Bills, Certificates of Origin, Insurance Certificates, Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoices, and Debit/Credit Notes.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.

  • Track shipment schedules and ensure timely submission of required documents to relevant parties.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Incoterms and company trade policies.

  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation records.

  • Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Reconcile sales invoices with shipment documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Verify cost of sales (COS), including freight, and other landed costs.

  • Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure proper recording of revenue and associated costs.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between sales values and actual costs.

  • Prepare periodic reconciliation and analysis reports for management review.

  • Support month-end closing activities related to trade and shipment transactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Relevant experience in trade documentation and financial reconciliation.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
